iPads, Geese and Round #2

Firstly I’d like to congratulate Behar on his tremendous effort; the Etch-a-Sketch of our team flag is nothing short of award-winning. Now… as this guy hates losing and is aware of my immense artistic ability, it would have come as no surprise to me if I was given a hard sketch. I was right.

Challenger – Sam Behar
Sketchee – Fraser Burt
Object – A Goose

The word goose (plural: geese) is the English name for a considerable number of birds, belonging to the family Anatidae. This family also includes swans, most of which are larger than true geese, and ducks, which are smaller. ‘tamgoose’ has also been my gamer tag since I was 14 (don’t be alarmed if you recognise it .. I was a pretty big deal on Call of Duty 3).

Following on from the iPad 2 theme, ‘Goosed Up Rhymes’ has just launched in the app store and went straight into the top 10. “Goosed Up Rhymes takes full advantage of the form and functionality of the iPad 2, using children’s own curiosity as the navigation tool to launch their exploration of each beautifully illustrated nursery rhyme and game.” One for the kids – and silly adults!

I think it’s important to let you know at this stage that I do like geese, I’d even go as far as to say I very much admire their noble self-esteem and dignified pond-presence… but I don’t love them, love them.

I believe the iPad 2 is capable of beautiful things – but Angry Birds has nothing on an Etch-a-Sketch.
